Tourist is a dark comedy about obsession, love, and the difference between the people who create and the people who watch. It is a story about what happens when the most ordinary man in the world gets exactly what he wished for.
A unique and funny black comedy that satirizes many different aspects of our culture. I enjoyed it and was pulled in from the start. Looking forward to more from this author.

Michael W. Heise has spent nearly 30 years building software and an equal amount of time not writing his debut novel. The idea for Tourist first took shape in his head 25 years ago, and he returned to it in pieces before finally committing to finishing it. Raised in New England, he moved to the Baltimore area in high school and now lives in Washington, D.C. with his wife and three kids. He is currently working on his next novel, with the goal of not taking 25 years to write it.
